epic part 2

Wedding day!

We got up and had breakfast but then my parents texted that they had extra breakfast coupons. We dropped the kids off to them to eat some more, then went on a quick run around the river by the temple. We ran into Shar so we joined her. It was fun to see the kids from the temple side, across the river, waving to us.

We raced back to the motorhome, showered and got ready, and were at the temple at 11. It was a great sealing, the photographer afterward was efficient, Adam and Stephanie looked perfect, our kids were in GREAT hands (Gary and Michelle's kids) and we quickly realized the kids could have more swim time that afternoon!

Michael brought some pizzas to the hotel, Spencer parked the motorhome in the parking lot while Sadie slept, and the big kids got to swim again.

Then it was time to head to the reception. It was in a backyard that was just a gorgeous piece of property. It was a DREAM backyard for kids. There was a fun play structure, an in-ground trampoline, and they served cookies, donuts and candy! (Sadie has a newfound love of Starbursts.) I took some pictures (not knowing at the time my camera was just about ready to quit for good) and enjoyed hanging out with extended family.

We left around 8:00 and as soon as we stepped into the motorhome Tyler's nose started bleeding. Gushing, really. It was crazy and scared Matthew a little. His white shirt and tie were both covered in blood. Good thing I was doing laundry that night anyway! We got the kids in bed, Michael took Spencer out to get some food, and then we did laundry.

The next morning (Sunday), we were up early and to the hotel by 6:45 to take advantage of the breakfast. We got to see Grandpa and Grandma Winder one last time and then we headed off to West Yellowstone to hit 10:00 church. That drive was amazing - it was 2 hours and ALL FOUR KIDS slept on the way. Sadie slept in my arms and the others found a bench (or bed) to sleep in.

I got to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Tetons, as well as the Targhee and Island Park areas.

We rolled in around 9:30 and Spencer showered while we got ready. My parents met us there and then we attended church with about 1000 other people. After Sacrament meeting Steve and Melissa and family met up with us and our huge group headed in to Yellowstone....
